Our Google Pixel 4a, 128 GB Review
✅ Reasons to buy
- it has a full-sized 3.5mm headphone jack
- Very responsive fingerprint reader
- a really great camera
- 10 hours screen-on time with the battery
- more affordable than the Google Pixel 4a with 5G
- available unlocked
❌ Reasons not to buy
- not water or dust resistance
- no facial recognition, but this isn’t really a bad thing
- not a high-end 4K screen - it has a 1080p OLED display
⚖️ The Verdict
The Google Pixel 4a is one of the most affordable phones with an OLED screen but it feels more like an update to the successful Pixel 3a. It has more memory and storage and a slightly better CPU. Overall, it is one of the best mid-range priced cell phones - it lands right in the center of price, quality, and performance. A good buy for sure - it has many of the features of the high-end flagship phones without the price.
